Eppie Vojt, Founder

Eppie spends his time shaping strategy, crunching data, and raising awareness about the GoodCall mission. Eppie, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Political Science.
Carrie oversees public relations strategy and communications at GoodCall. She’s also the organization’s media contact. Carrie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a B.A. in English.
Michelle is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she received a B.A. in Communications Studies with a concentration in Advertising. Prior to GoodCall, she worked as a Media Strategist in both NYC and Chicago, where she focused on gathering insightful data in order to understand her client’s target consumer.
Paul, GoodCall’s resident numbers guy, manages all things analytics and marketing. Paul graduated from High Point University with a B.S. in Marketing and a B.A. in Strategic Communication.
Jake Mize, Design Lead
Jake spent most of his childhood in the Carolinas and earned his BFA in Graphic Design from UNC-Charlotte in 2003. He’s spent the 11 years since then creating print and web experiences for some of the worlds largest brands.

Arthur directs GoodCall’s newsroom, taking advantage of nearly 30 years of newspaper and magazine experience. A native of Virginia, Arthur attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a bachelor’s in journalism.
Abby is responsible for managing GoodCall’s site and blog content, from news articles to data-driven reports. Abby, a Maine native, attended Davidson College and graduated with a degree in English.
Courtney helps manage the GoodCall newsroom and writes articles and guides for the data center. A native of eastern North Carolina, Courtney attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Derek is a writer, journalist and editor based out of Virginia. He received a master’s degree in Public Policy at George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Hofstra University.
Terri graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her education, career, and business articles have been featured on Yahoo! Education, U.S. News & World Report, The Houston Chronicle, and in the print edition of USA Today Special Edition. Terri is also a contributing author to “A Practical Guide to Digital Journalism Ethics,” a book published by the Center for Digital Ethics and Policy at Loyola University Chicago.
Donna is a freelance journalist from Long Island, New York. In addition to GoodCall, Donna has written for Bankrate.com, Glassdoor.com, SigFig.com, FoxBusiness.com, Business Insider, Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal.
Eliana is an associate English professor at Arizona Western College, with degrees from Brigham Young University and Northern Arizona University. She has been published widely in outlets such as in The New York Times, the Washington Post, the Christian Science Monitor, and the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Candace has been writing since 1976, for outlets that include Adweek, Advertising Age, BusinessWeek, the Dallas Times Herald, the International Herald Tribune, The New York Times, and Reuters America.
Elaine is passionate about helping families and young people with college funding, and has covered the subject for major publications, including CNBC and Forbes. She is also a former senior editor at Fortune Small Business magazine, and has contributed to publications including Fortune, Money, Inc., Good Housekeeping and many others.
Carol received a B.A. in journalism from Central Michigan University. She was an education reporter for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, where she won the Newsmaker Award from the Florida Teaching Profession/National Education Association for distinguished news coverage of Florida public education. She is now a freeelance journalist whose work has been featured in Education Week.
Jason Carson Wilson
Jason is a Chicago-based freelance writer and former daily newspaper reporter with extensive education writing experience. Jason has covered issues like education and minority affairs for many different news outlets during his career.
